Aunty Jane Refund Policy

Purpose
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be provided to clients of Aunty Jane for services and associated fees. By booking an appointment with Aunty Jane, you agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Non-Refundable Booking Fee

The Booking Fee paid at the time of booking is non-refundable. This fee covers administrative and pre-assessment costs, even if you are found clinically ineligible for services.

In exceptional circumstances, a Discretionary Refund may be considered (see Section 5).
2. Refunds for Overpayments

Any overpaid Booking Fees or Service Fees will be refunded to you.

If a private health insurance rebate is incorrectly returned to Aunty Jane, we will refund this amount to you upon receipt.
3. Cancellation by Aunty Jane

If Aunty Jane cancels your appointment for any reason:

You may reschedule your appointment without incurring additional fees, or
-
You may request a full refund of the Booking Fee and any pre-paid Service Fees.

4. Medication Fees

Medication fees are collected after Consult 2 from collaborating pharmacies.

Medication cannot be returned to the pharmacy after shipping or delivery due to national laws and regulations.

No medication refund can be given once dispensed and shipped from pharmacy.

5. Rescheduling and Late Notice Fees

If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least two (2) business days in advance.

Less than two (2) business days’ notice may result in forfeiture of the Booking Fee, and a new fee may apply.

In exceptional circumstances, Aunty Jane may offer a Discretionary Refund for rescheduling fees.
6. Discretionary Refunds

Discretionary Refunds may be provided in cases of financial hardship or special circumstances at Aunty Jane’s sole discretion.

Requests for Discretionary Refunds must be submitted in writing to info@auntyjanehealth.com and include supporting documentation, if applicable.
7. Australian Consumer Law

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded.

If required by law, our liability is limited to re-supplying the service or covering the cost of re-supplying the service.
8. Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

Clients will be notified by email once the refund has been processed.

Aunty Jane will call you directly to obtain bank information. We will never request this via text or email.
